Central Missouri Mustang and Ford Club

Monthly Meeting

June 11, 2012

Lone*Star Steakhouse - Columbia

7:00 p.m.

Attendees: James Reese, Mike Imhoff, Mary Brown, Mike Shipley,

Dan & Jan Shepherd, Bob Jenkins, Matt Old, Duane Korte, Richard Walk,

John & Teresa Braun, Bill & Barbara Schuette

The meeting was called to order @ 7:15 p.m.  Mike Shipley, Treasurer reported a total of $3,491.00 in the club account as of June 10, 2012. 

The majority of this meeting was to finalize for our Annual Show on June 24^th…

• Sponsorships have been strong, but we are still looking for back up judges.  If you know of anyone, please email Jim @ jwreese@tranquility.net as time is running out

• Ronald McDonald will make an appearance and will be housed inside the “cool off” room. The Ronald McDonald house charities will staff a booth with their information  outside close to Ronald

• Food will NOT be provided by the club, but the Parkade Sub Shop will be open for business. We are also asking Andy’s Frozen Custard to repeat their appearance with ice cream available to purchase

• The DJ has been secured and is the same one we had last year

• There will be a 50/50 raffle and other items to raffle during the show

• For those who only want to display their cars, the fee is $10.00

The DARE car show is this Saturday, June 16^th @ the Joe Machens Rental Center Lot.  A “mini-cruise” is scheduled by our club to cruise to Bill White’s home to see his car collection after the show. Maps will be provided.

Colonel Folsom’s High Five Tour is coming to Joe Machens in Columbia on June 26^th.  His plan is to arrive in Columbia by 1pm, then “cruise” to Capital City Joe Machens in Jefferson City and be there from 2-6pm. If you are interested, be at the Columbia Machens by 1pm. 

Cruises at Andy’s Frozen Custard in Columbia are ongoing every Thursday evening. Stop by and catch up with fellow “Mustang” members as well as support a local business.
